After 11 years and millions of photos, we regrettably must announce that the Picasa Uploader is shutting down.

Facebook has recently made a number of updates to their platform aimed at reducing misuse. As part of those changes, Facebook has eliminated the ability for third-party apps such as Picasa Uploader to post content to your Facebook Profile.

Effective August 1, 2018, Picasa Uploader will be blocked from uploading photos on your behalf. Going forward, the only supported way to upload photos will be to use the built-in tools in Facebook's website and mobile apps.

We'd like to thank you for your support over the years. We built the Picasa Uploader in 2007 to simplify our own uploads, and we hope our service made the process easier for you as well.
